Menumbuhkan Online Resilience pada Anak:
                                     Tantangan dalam Pengasuhan di Era Teknologi Digital

             Wiwin Hendriani. “Building Online Reselience in Children: The
             Challenge of Child Rearing in the Digital Era.”
                  This article aims to describe the way to build  online resilience
             in children as one of the challenges of child rearing in the digital
             technology era. The digital technology era has brought a large amount
             of social challenges behind all the conveniences it offers. Parents have
             to be able to conduct their  parenting practices in ways that on the same
             time help in building  online resilience in their children. Online resilience
             is the ability to deal effectively with the online negative experiences.
             Resilient children would have the ability to tackle adverse situations in
             a problem-focused way, and to transfer negative emotions into positive
             or neutral feelings. Risks and resilience go hand in hand, as resilience
             can only develop through exposure to risks. Consequently, children
             would develop their  online resilience through learning to adequately
             cope with online adversities. Efforts to build  online resilience should
             be based on the understanding of a number of concepts including the
             key components of resilience and the way these component can be
             developed, as well as the basic principles of  parenting process in the
             perspective of developmental psychology.
