Memory, Mind, Behavior and the Quality of Human Civilization.”
The information and communication technology has brought major
changes to the pattern of human life by introducing a new world
called the cyberspace. As it grows, the cyberspace has attracted great
attention from the public mind either consciously or unconsciously.
The pattern of human life is certainly changing due to the presence of
the information and communication technology and the information
presented in the cyberspace. These changes have both positive and
negative impacts the confi guration of which depends on the human
mind who provides information on the cyberspace itself. However, as
these information are widely accessible, the information’s confi guration
stored on the cyberspace (cyber memory) also has a great infl uence on
the confi guration of human minds and behaviors at large. This paper
presents the relationship between the memory of the universe, cyber
memory, the human mind, behavior, and quality of civilization, and
also analyze it through the construction of positive collective memory.
The construction of this positive collective memory is a key to the
development of human civilization that can be realized through a smart
city, smart education, smart sport, smart health, smart economy, and
smart environment.
