Pornographic Information in Adolescents in DKI Jakarta.”
Selective exposure of pornography information among adolescents
can be divided in three levels. First, adolescents as part of the family
will hold on to the belief in doing the selection information. Second,
teenagers as part of the group will adjust their belief with the existing
reality. Belief will not change if the reality does not change, and vice
versa. The change depends on how closely the individual relates with
the group. The closer the relationship, the faster the belief will change,
and vice versa. The change is done as a realization of the effort to
accomplish cognitive balance. Third, at the level of mass communication,
the individual will perform a selection of information based on the utility
of the information to meet the needs of information.
