Social Media.”
The sosial media is an integral part of globalization shich occurs in any
part of the world including Indonesia today. In its current development,
the sosial media can be used as an effective and effi cient way to create
a sosial movement of helping people in needs in our society. Helping
behavior is part of prososial behavior which includes any behavior
intended to benefi t other people. One of the theories that analyze the
cause or reason for the occurrence of helping behavior including that
in the sosial media is the theory of empathy. Empathy which is the
ability to perceive the emotional state of others, feel sympathetic, try to
help resolve the problem, and take the perspective of others can move a
person to help others through real actions.
